Takes a lot to post that kind of report Scoob. Made me feel better about my own moments of panic on the hills. Thanks

Plain and simple stupidity. what can i say?
I made a stupid mistake, and possibly through fatigue, stubborness denial or all of those my mind was leading the way despite what everything else was telling me

I started to read your report cos were hopin to do Lochnagar on Sunday. It was a riveting read and like the others have said thanks for your sheer honesty. I'm still a bit of a novice at this munro business and what you described is my wife's worst nightmare! My walk buddies will tell you I carry so much kit with me "just in case" so I'm over cautious but I've learned more from your post than any book or website could, cos it was real.

Thanks for potentially saving my life too
