It's been a while since I've been to Ythan/Collieston area.
I've been doing various sections of my local coast from Macduff - Buckie and also recently did Cruden Bay to Peterhead.
You've now bumped a walk from Ythan Estuary to Colliston up by wish-list.
Coastal walks make a nice change from hills.
Cheers

Best at low tide foggie for watching the seals. Balmedie too newburgh is a fine wander along the beach as well but ye need a couple bin liners for wading oor the costal burns.

i will have to try some of the other costal tracks mibee cullen so i can pop into the ice cream shop. :D

Done both the Ythan walks on WH. Enjoyed both of them. We got followed by a seal all the way along the estuary. Kept popping his head up, til an idiot with his dog appeared and he let the dog jump into the water and scared it away.

The Ythan estuary is a great place for wildfowl of all kinds, I loved a trip up that way when I lived in Aberdeen. It's strange what you can find along those beaches...
