Parked my car at the storry arms because the other carpark was closed due to tree felling. There had been a lot of snow over the high ground so i just had to go and see for myself, still suffering with a knee injury i had to take my time . The path at the start was very slippery underfoot. but as you went higher the snow was getting deeper and the wind picked up. As usual when i got to Bwlch Duwynt the wind was quite strong. The snow on the path around the back of Corn du was a bit deeper so the going was a bit harder. The big surprise of the day was there was hardly any wind on the summit of Pen y fan. With clear blue sky overhead and a mid day moon in the sky. I have been up Pen y fan many time and it never fails to amaze me the view is never the same.

Cracking photos WW, well worth the walk even with a dodgy knee, hope you didn't suffer as a result :D I remember being on one summit, once, in the middle of summer that had no wind

Impressive looking day and a lot more snow than I was expecting to see! I have a horrible feeling the weather isn't quite going to hold out to the weekend, when I was planning on a round of the Black Mountains. Oh well...
