Well after having my days off at work changed at the last moment and missing a cracking day the week before, I was itching to get the boots on and some fresh air. So the day was planned, two munros south of Crianlarich on a promising weather forecast brightening up from the north.
After a slight change of plan though at the last moment, with belief in the forecast of brighter weather coming south and to leave the dull damp weather in Crianlarich behind, we drove back up north to Ben Challum. Little did we anticipate the fantastic glorious day we were in for..............after we had gone through the clouds.
One of the best days for views I have on the hills, so just a small selection to share

I was lucky enough to stand on that cairn under blue sky's a couple of years ago, but my day wasn't as grand as yours.

It was soft snow everywhere, think it's the dazzle from the sunshine that gives the impression of being icy. Crampons stayed in rucsac all day
