Uill bha mi a mach a ribhist an duigh ................ for another quickie my choice being Beinn Sgulaird faisg Loch Creran
The forecast on Di -Sathairne was cáic with gales and blizzards so that"forced" me back onto the Shinty pitch for a pre season friendly to "warm" up for the season
it was no very warm i can tell you .... but enough of real mens games
Headed off at 7.30am and was at Loch Creran for 9.00 am ,bha an t side ? ...breagha is fuar ach tioram
The route up was steep with powdery snow over ice although this was here and there so no need for crampoons
Its a long haul with a good few false summits but the weather was grand and with "An Cu" leading the way we sound found ourselves on the druim
Good views all round and except to the West where the usual ceo is sgoth lurked above An t eilean Mhuile
We had a good wander on the top it makes a change from poor visibility of recent outings and soon out target was looming
Its a wee haul suas is sios over the druim and with soft powdery snow and bitties of ice over boulder fields hard going but i did not need to use either the axe of crampoons just a wee bit care
Soon we hit the Cárn she is big ! with grand sealltainn all round ...except the West where there was sgoth heading toward us for a wee change
I spent a good half hour on the mullach for lunch and the visibility was grand 3/4 round ..don't mention the West and to the South we could spy Arrain is Duira but there was definetly cloudy fronts on their way ..so sios a'ribhist
A pretty good descent was had and we got the best of the day soon found myself back at the car for 1.30pm
So you may ask the mighty hoops ? .... We was back home in time to see the Celtic demolish the Hibees ...
Hail Hail agus cheerie an drasda
