The boring Cairngorm Mountain

Booked a whole week in the Cairngorms and couldnt wait. Drove up Sunday and arrived at a very busy Coire Cas about 12pm with unfinished business from last May
A quick bite to eat and off up the wee skiers hill and it looked very promising view wise
Wasnt very happy to find the Ptarmigan completely clagged out
Another quick cuppa at the Ptarmigan then off up the hill and talking to people coming down we were in for a treat.
Arrived on top with an inversion behind us
Arrived at the Cairn to stunning views across the plateau
very busy at the weather station and unseasonally warm
And a first for me - A fog bow
My favourite pic of the day
Me and the plateau looking like a moon scape
Another boring view
Heading back with a partial double fog bow
Back at the Ptarmigan it was foggy but the sledge park looked fun
the trip down was quick ( only kidding )
Unfortunately the rest of the weather was affected by the weather but this walk alone was worth the drive up
