A mach a ribhist air Dis athairne agus a fhalbh gu Gleann Sith ..............
The dry /tioram East and for the first time i visited Glen Shee on Saturday with the intention of the Glas Maol (4) to take my haul to 51.I ve only started this coiseachd chnuic (hillwalking) cráic and since Mid July including these, i ve finished 41 ......... having completed 9 years back !
Uill air ais gu Gleann Sith .... the weather was poor ish with sgothan about and no snow ! so no much sealltainn
Its a good high start and a quick shift finds you on the druim quickly
So Creag Leacach was sorted out in no time onward to Glas Maol Inntinneadh air an druim ...with the dyke /fence to follow you can hardly fail to collect these quickly or go wrong !
In no time we hit the summit of Glas Maol and a nice big sgoth/cloud landed on us, so no visibility and a grand collection of folks at the Cárn and being busy we did nt stop for long and set off again .....following a few peeps who set of just before us ...no need to look at a mapa on this wee hill .....as my companions trusted my inbuilt compass:
As we hit the Bealach a road and ski centre appears to our right (SW) ...... we ve been here before!! .... aye just 30mins ago !
look familiar ?
Yes... tha fios agam
Back onto Glas Maol AGAIN which is now clear .......... off to Cárn na Claise
A bearing from the cárn to Án Tuirc ,taking no chance's in case we end on Lochnagar
Sios an sron nan Cárn an Tuirc , quickly realising i ve parked the car in the wrong car park ....bout 3 miles North of our exit
oh dhia !
A big big moran taing to the fella from Aberdeen who picked mise agus An Cu up 5mins after i hit the road
I m now sacked as chief navigator and planner but i ve 51 Munros ........or is that 52
Ach tha sin e ... .....Nuair a thig air duine thig air uile / When it comes on one it comes on all
Cheerie a nis
