hello
this is a very good story.http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/po ... 70d1a290e# for my friends it will be also the first munro, but in Germany and Switzerland we have made a lot of hills higher than this munro, so I hope it will not be the last....
I come with a group ( 20 Pers) from Germany . At 10.june 2012 we come also to Beinn na Lap with the train from Fort William. The idea with the piper is great, can I book him, you know him???
Is the restaurant Corrour Station now open? because we want after the walk something eat there.
I hope we have also sunny weather for our week in Scotland.http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/po ... 70d1a290e#
regards

Hi Uschi

The piper was there to help celebrate someone's last Munro and I imagine he was a friend of someone in that group. It is the only time I have seen a piper on top of a hill so it is quite unusual. You would have to know someone who plays the pipes and ask them to come with you - and that means a train journey as well as climbing a hill.

The Corrour cafe should be open on 10th June. Since you are a large group you should maybe book if you want to have food there after your walk. Hope the weather is good and you get good views! :D
