Pare Maja:-( she's gettin aw excited when she sees ma kit, but she's had pups 3 weeks ago and i think she better stay wi them the day !!
So left at 7.15 fi Larbert, first time av tin the wife wi me, so it's her first ever trip past Callender !! Really quiet road up, parked, changed and ready to go at 9.45. Low cloud and near constant rain but the boggy ground aint as bad as expected and easily negotiable. Nae pictures on the way up it was too wet, around 800m the snow startsand by 850m the winds howling too, maybe 50/60mph but we get to the top, wind assissted!!, without much trouble.
Back doon the hill into that wind, just wanting doon asap, so just headed straight for Loch an Daimh, once doon ti 700m...wow what a change !!
- Towards Stuc an Lochan, i think, wrapped in cloud
- Giorra Dam
so back ti the car within the 3hrs, a wee change o claes, hot beetroot soup and and a couple o ham gammon rolls and alls well for the trip hame, wi some locals to see us off....
- no bad for Aga's first venture into the Scotish hills
then there was the obligatory stop to say hi to Hamish and Honey....
