Well I haven't been out for a while but hopefully this was the start of some bigger hills for me. On Saturday things seemed to have been a bit rushed and everything was bundled haphazzardly into the car and we were off. A day of wellies rather than rock boots.

Glen Devon is just down the road from us and nobody in the pack had been before so it was all new.

We parked at the Pub car park and wandered up the Borland Glen track before branching around to the right and following a stream up into the trees. Don't know why just seemed like an interesting routes, he said something about being more sheltered. From there we then made the short pull onto the top and got a great impact view of the whirly things that are dotted along Green Law.

Anyone who thinks these hills are not steep should have heard what he said when he slipped on the way down, made my ears lie flat it did! We picked up the Borland Glen track and returned back down the Glen to the car.

After a quick swim in the river to remove the mud we were off home. Good to be out on the fells again, will have to get the old boy out more often.
