Route description: Ben Nevis by the Càrn Mòr Dearg Arête

Munros included on this walk: Ben Nevis, Càrn Mòr Dearg

Date walked: 04/03/2012

Time taken: 7.5 hours

Distance: 16.5 km

Ascent: 1344m

This is my first walk report people please bear with me

Left house 6.30 am headed up to fort bill with a dodgy camera, water still in it from fridays walk at culra,

Headed up first part of track towards halfway lochain where the north face the ben come into view

Got to cmd summit after 3 hours had a quick cup of tea and spoke to 4 fellow walkers then headed down the arete no more photos as camera packed in.

Got to the summit of the ben after a further 2 hours after a mini snow blizzard lasted 20 minutes halfway along the arete

Stayed on the bens summit 5 minutes then headed down the track home. :D
