You've a way with words, BP. Allied to the great pictures, you've certainly captured the beauty of the place.

Cheers everybody! And thank you all so much for your comments and compliments, I never expected so many kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed my little story and hopefully I will deliver some more :D Last Monday we did Schiehallion, I'll post my TR as soon as I find time. It may not be as grand a walk as Beinn Eighe, but nice views nevertheless.

Inspiring read BP. A friend has done the same route you took with a slight additional section - said it was his best day ever on the hill. I've yet to do this. Really looking forward to it after reading this.

oh my oh my oh my that was fab
last time I was on beinn Eighe was in 1981 on a school trip and it was water coming up and water coming down and we went to the top and straight down again and were absolutely soaked. I had a lovely day. It was only one munro then so I gotta go back and take my husband. looking forward to it even more!

Fantastic report :D and fantastic pictures too :D And just as I thought they couldn't get any better up pops the moon :D :D Love this area too, but haven't had the chance yet to do any walking here. Hopefully 2012 will be the year to put that right, and I'll be revisiting this report as part of my planning. Thanks for posting :D

Wonderful report, BP. You`ve captured this wonderful area perfectly with your combination of photos and prose. I also really enjoy your other reports of the area round Cromarty. Keep up the great work!!
