6 Class Exped to Dall Mill, dropped off at Invervar in Glen Lyon walked up Invervar burn passed the shielings and over An Sgorr to Carn Gorm, down the north side to Meall Droilichean, 600m spot height and into the forest to find the road to Dall burn and Rannoch school. The shoulder of the hill from the 600m spot height had been relatively freshly planted and was covered in tightly packed 6ft christmas trees with 4ft ditches between the rows, which of course was across the direction of march. It was dark by this time, good job really as even the grass would be blushing with the not so choice language of 50 odd young men falling through trees and into ditches.
