The team today was me, Alec, Scott(nobabody) and Bear the dug
Left the house at 6am up the A9 the day looked good wi nice blue skies most of the way up there got to the carpark at loch moraig the summit of Carn Liath had a wee cloud cover on it we were on the track at 8.05am good walk to the hut that sits at the bottom of Carn Liath went to look inside but it was shut.
Made good time up Carn Liath but the path is quite steep in places at around the 700mtr mark the clag rolled in and that was that all the way top the summit sat on the top for 10 mins so along we went the ridge walk would have had some nice views but not today then onto Braigh Coire Chruinn-bhalgain, the clag was with us to the summit of Braigh Coire Chruinn-bhalgain
Had lunch here and sat around to see if the clag would lift it was trying its best got to the bealach below the clag and the views opened up for us the path down then up to Carn nan Gahber was straight forward enough the summit was still in cloud so on we went the summit, is right at the end of the plateau, the sun was trying to come out as best it could
Had the rest of our lunch then made our way down for the long walk back to the car the path on the way was quite boggy in place's All in all it was a magic day the weather was good nae rain or tuff winds.
