ChrisW wrote:A great read as always Pete and some lovely shots with your back up camera, I feel I should point out something though - its the waterproof trooos that control the rain, if you faff about getting them out of the bag and putting them on the rain stops, if you don't it doesn't  Spectacular views all the way through here, really enjoyable :D

Cheers Chris :D Waterproof trousers brings back memories of a couple of days walking a few years back with my sister and her husband. Stop start all the way as their waterproofs came on, then waterproofs came off - numerous times  I just got wet and I think it must have affected me in some way as I can't be bothered to stop these days

Cheers 2dalmations :D It's a great place, Kintail :D One of my favourites :D I think I was lucky on Sunday, but you should get yourself there soon. I promise you'll return :D

A point well made  You certainly ' won a watch' picking Fhada for your walk

This was my 200th Munro, and my mate Doogzs' 150th, on the same day- between us we must have took 400 odd photos, also, met Astronick on the way down.

Cheers soulminer :D I remember your report :D Stunning, stunning pictures you had there :D Even with no spare batteries I still managed over 150 pictures :D Had I had my usual camera I would easily have taken many more than that  I was like a kid in a sweety shop :D

Not at all Pete - just whets the appetite even more. I think it'll be the Sisters for me - nice to get a wee sneak preview. :D

Cheers Graeme :D I hope you all have a great time at the meet :D Such a great area. I've still got the sisters to do :D I think I will have them tackled some time in the spring :D

Cheers JC :D Pity you had the clag. You'll have to return :D

Sometime I think I've nearly done as many miles walking as I've done driving to the hills  The red teardrops on my map are getting further and further away now. I keep suggesting to MrsR that we move north, but she's not having it  :(

Why don't you just keep the waterproof trousers on and that should keep the rain away

     Can't keep the waterproof on all the time. I get too hot the times I've done that in the past :( And as I tell everyone in my house - it's only water

Glad you enjoyed the report and pictures :D This is now one of my favourite hills :D

Cheers quoman :D It's a great hill and one that I think I'd overlooked because it was tucked away behind the Glen Shiel hills. I'm very glad I made the trip though, as this is now up there as one of the best walks I've done :D

Cheers jimandandrea :D It certainly was some day :D Much better weather than the forecast had suggested. Having the whole place to myself was something of a bonus, but I would have happliy shared it with other walkers had they been out and about :D
