I started this walk from Glen Kinglas halfway along the long stretch of road on the A83, crossing the river and taking a boggy "path" along the opposite side. I continued to a grassy track that headed through the forest, taking this track for a short period before heading up a steep path through the trees. I wasn't sure if it would take me out of the forest to where i wanted to be but i took it anyway and it eventually brought me to a break in the forest. I then had to make my way through another short section of forest before i was out in the open hillside. From here i made my way over to the ridge of Stob an Eas and onwards to the summit. It was a lovely clear day if a bit breezy which allowed me some great views from the summit. I returned by heading back down the ridge and making for the tree line and heading down to the A815 then back along the Old Military Road to the car. My route up wasn't too bad but would not recommend my route down as it was over uneven boggy ground. Possibly the route from Hells Glen would be a better option and it is also shorter. Although this was a boggy walk it was well worth on a day like today, with lovely views in all directions. The duration of the walk was 3hrs 45mins with a 20 min break on the summit.

Great work JC, those beautiful pics show why you weren't too bothered about the bog, well worth it by the look of it :D

The weather and views certainly seemed to make up for the bogs - I'd been looking at the corbetts in this area for shorter winter walks but in the end only managed one - this gets me thinking that maybe next year I need to look at the grahams as well - cheers :D
