As with your last skye report this is ace I am now scared

Superb. Im only 1 year in to my hillwalking but already the Inacessible Pinnacle worries me I hope one day I can do this. Anyway well done and great report.

Really enjoyed this report - thanks! And the pics are great, particularly the sunshine on the sea, and the "house window" at the start! And Eas Mor. Don't know how you managed to take photographs on all that scary stuff! It's way beyond us, but it's fun to read about how you did it, and what was felt and said.

Crackin report, good on ye!

Read Martin Moran's "The Munros in Winter" and found that he (unintentionally) ended up having to solo the in-pin under a couple of inches of fresh snow: sketchiest conditions imaginable

Very much looking forward to Skye one of these days. Had a good wee scramble today up the waterfall that leads to the lochan below Angel's Peak, then up an ice-rimed NE ridge of said mountain. Beautiful day for it.

Excellent report, having now had time to read it properly. Lot of very helpful detail for those of us still to get here but had me chuckling away as well A few "sweaty palms" moments....and that was just reading it ! Had an outline idea to try to get up here for my half century but now with a lot of trepidation and not so sure - cheers

Saw myself as a bit of an adrenaline junkie obsessed with heights, but seeing your photos makes me not so sure about that! Good prep for my trip up there this summer. Well done for stopping to take the pics too!

It seems a common misconception I was casually climbing the ridge with one hand and taking snaps with the other? No, no, no!

I'm the one in the photos clinging for dear life - my climbing partner kindly offered to take my camera for me and get some pics - luckily for me

I'm a little disturbed how many comments there are along the lines of "now i'm scared", "i'm really nervous now", "that looks terrifying"... "i'll never manage that"....

Sorry Wasn't my intention, but I was helped a huge amount before tackling these things with as much info as possible so just trying to repay the service

you have nothing to be sorry about ranger. your report was well written. its how we interprit the photos that puts the fear into us. i like the fact that you have prepared as much as you had b4 hand. i bet that instills confidence in the guides perception of the person they are bout to work with. good stuff.

Nice report and pics! Very fear inducing!

Particularly more so fear inducing that we are hoping to do this in about 12 weeks... I have booked a guide for me and the then to be wife on our honeymoon

Hopefully we will get weather as good as yours.

What camera were you using? For someone who was terrified you still took piccies!!
