Stevie,

descent was fine. I would recommend the three Munros, if you can and finish descending how I did. That would be an epic in the right weather.

The lip of the coire is a wonderful place to stop and gaze down.

Good stuff Kev, what a day and a great contrast to your last winter excursion up there that I remember reading about way back. It's a cracking circuit of hills. I spent an age sitting at the top of the corrie on a perfect day up there.

That's a stunning shot of the cliffs and lochan. And the one looking down - wow! :D

My pal is planning a sponsored walk to raise funds for MR around the anniversary of when she broke her ankle and was airlifted from Cairngorms. She'd like to do Creag Meagaidh and coming off this way might be an option. Were there any tricky bits on the descent?

We'll have to wait til this surgery is over before we can fix a date but will do in due course.
