I met up with Michelle towards the end of her trip; after seeing the weather she encountered with Kev I had requested sunshine...but looks like my order was misplaced :eh:
Patchy rain was reasonably light, plenty of cloud, but most importantly a fun day out was had!

We paused to enjoy what would be pretty much the only bit of blue sky encountered during the day....

A handful of views before we got too high up...

I thought this looked like a mini "Tower Gap" as seen on Nevis

That's a bloody shame. At least she she had good company!
Michelle won't have many memories of the Mamores.

Your misplaced order for sunshine has been located- somehow it ended up here in DC, 25c and sunny when I got home! I'll forward it at my earliest convenience.

But on the bright side (no pun intended!), the next time I make it into the Mamores it will be like seeing it all for the first time... because I WILL be seeing it all for the first time!
Ah well, it was good fun!
