Set off from the car park around 8am in glorious spring like sunshine! We could see the first objective of the day straight ahead, to be honest you can't really miss Carn Liath and the big scarred path up to the summit...it's visible for miles. Along the farm track road, turned left at the hut and began what would be a fairly tiring but great day out
A couple of quick summit pics and we were on our way, looking at the great ridge ahead.
It was at this point on the ridge the horizontal snow started coming in! Goggles and waterproofs on and happily marching on along the broad and weaving ridge
Had a quick refuel of bovril and a rather nice nip from a couple's hipflask from Inverness, and made our way back down...for the long, long walk back to the car. Was a great day out and definitely one I'd do again...a whole traverse in the snow would be amazing to do there.[attachment=0]DSCF2220.JPG
