Personally i think you did really well, i reckon my morale would have been rock bottom after the fall...plus torn waterproofs...well done for keeping it going. Hope you slapped your mate for leaving you ou there ;)

Great pictures...looked wild but beautiful.

The knee has improved a lot, and the bruises are yellowed and fading now, thanks for your concern :D

My walking buddy for this trip was just an aquaintance really.. I forget that southern softies dont have the determination or hardiness of us highlanders *ducks for cover from the wave of abuse* :lol:

I think the hills get a bad press.. despite years of stupidity on my part, not only am I still here to tell the tales, but I've never even been late home from an expedition.. Aye, be prepared for all weathers, Aye, they will throw problems and injuries your way and Aye, they will probably get me one day, but until then, I'll enjoy them as much as I can 8)

That all depends on how far south you mean!


Well those brought up south of the Highland Boundary Fault (Runs from Helensburgh to Stonehaven) was what I meant.. but not very seriously :lol:
