No, it's not what you are thinking
So, unfortunately, no further images of that grand area of rock. The intention, was, many years back, to ascend the nose, but the rain got in the way of a wee climb up the greasy pole. So we ended up sneaking away down to Reif to spend the rest of the day on some fine sandstone beside the sea......never got back to the Nose.
Our way up to the two Elsies was much the same as yours up some pleasant sandstone outcrops to the higher ground. The views out from here and from Eoin and it's neighbour are very fine.....but that was on another occasion from the road down to Stac Pollaidh. Not many of our days out were planned in any way....we just kind'of bumped into things on the way to somewhere else....the good thing about random and unplanned visits to the high ground is that you have to return to many fine areas of the highlands many times over.
Got a bee in my bonnet about Corse at the moment....it's lasted for nearly five years now.
I wish that I had one of those digital cameras all those years ago...your images are crisp and clear. Yon 'image shack' site makes it difficult for the viewing of your images....you are bombarded with all that advertising stuff.
Currently I am trying to get one of those Global Nav. Satellite Systems to speak to me in digits that I am familiar with....it insists on speaking with Latitude and Longtitude stuff....I am not a sailor. I need to have the grid digits....the food of the hillfolks.
