Day 4 of my trip and I was back at the car park at Inveruglas and it was straight on with the waterproofs, yes it was raining again. On the road the Loch Sloy the sun made a very brief appearance allowing me this rare photo opportunity.

The path up the side of Ben Vorlich was very boggy and slippery in places and at times it was a river.
The wind was getting very strong as I ascended further, Loch Sloy was looking very rough compared to the other day.

Once again the clouds were soon reached well before the top was and this was my last photo of the day.

Quite a steep climb this one at first but once on the ridge it's a lot easier. The path along the ridge is very up and down though and the wind today was very strong on the top, where the path dipped down the power of it was immense and if it wasn't for the fact the ridge is very wide I would have probably turned back. Reaching the summit was a struggle in the wind, I needed all my strength ( and my walking ploes ) to stay on my feet. Another quick visit to the summit and back down asap to get out of the wind and rain. I felt a real sense of achievement today as once or twice I thought the weather was going to beat me.

Hi Liebstotoer,
I done this one a couple of weeks ago and had good weather. The climb up the hillside is quite steep and tiring. I admire your tenacity continuing in the face of strong winds :D Well done

Thanks Monty, when I was up ther it was a bit scary but I thought I've not come all the way up from Manchester to nearly reach the top,

Has been a bit blowy lately - think those Autumn storms are coming early. Love the rainbow shot.
