With our original plan to climb Meall nan Tarmachan we headed north, but the snow at higher levels and us not having crampons put us off the ridge. We had considered this possibility before we left and had planned Meall Corranaich & Meall a'Choire Leith as our back up route handily placed on the other side of the valley.
