As has already been said Alastair, your photos are stunning :D

I was on this beast last weekend, and there was a faif bit of snow on the bypass path when I was there. Your #1 bypass path photo brings back an uncomfortable memory for me of my trip :shock: So glad you had better walking conditions than me :D

Yes, we found the bypass fairly easy - a couple of places where you had to clamber round some outcrops but for the most part pretty easy to follow. But under even a modest covering of snow I should imagine things would start to get very tricky. But at least its now in the bag - look forward to your report :D
