We thought that we could be breaking trail today on the North ridge of Cairngorm :) Beginning from the Ciste car park there is a path out to the col above the wee plantation to reach the ridge...... not marked on the Harvey map.

The skiers and boarders seemed to be happier above the mechanised area where the snow was much finer.

Down the ridge from 1141 to reach the ski area and a jog down the road to regain the motor.

Nice one. Amazing amount of snow considering it had all gone in March. Was up over the Fungle Road yesterday and the 'gorms & Lochnagar looked totally white.
