Fantastic photos! Wow! We've wondered about the Meall but really want to do it now. It's great to see such great views of some of our favourite hills, looking so spectacular - each angle seems to reveal some new quality in them. Yours of Beinn Eighe are stunning. We've done the trail a couple of times, in poor weather though there's always lots to see, of course. We also found that scrambly bit of path a bit scary at first but it's not as bad as it looks once you're on it.

We want to say also, we really enjoyed your Ben Stack report - quite an inspiration and the main reason we chose Ben Stack over other possibilities when we were up that way last summer. We had a great day, so thanks for that!

All the best,

Daniel and Clare (Torridon_snails)

WOW...this is beautiful BP, I've got no doubts that this will be moving up the 'Corbetts I want to do' list for a lot of people after seeing those stunning shots...just absolutely beautiful

The weather here has warmed up a little (by Canadian standards) if it carries on I may just go for a summit myself later this week

I was told about this walk. It immediately appealed to me. I then scouted it on here and read this report. I was not disappointed on the 27th when I climbed the mountain trail and even less disappointed on the 29th when I went back with the brother in law and climbed to the summit cairn. :D

One fine view from the summit cairn

I particularly enjoyed the rocky scramble in places. For a newbie I felt it was a perfect introduction to this type of walking.

The views are magnificent:

Overall the whole of Torridon is such a magnificent place to be. Helped by the perfect weather we have had.

I'm heading back there soon.

Reached the two Corbetts... Ghiuthais and Ruadh-stac Beag from a track close to the Anancaun (SNH offices) turn-off many years back. The track doesn't seem to appear on the WW map? Only got to the fine mountain trail this year. :)

I'm glad to hear that my TR from this one was useful. Torridon is a cracking place. I was actually on Beinn Alligin on the 29th :D

Ruadh-stac Beag has recently been added to WH walks. I'm hoping to climb it soon.

I had noticed your report. I chuckled at the bum shuffling bit! but then I see the picture from one of Kevin's solo traverses and it focuses my mind. I may have been thinking about Beinn Alligin and those horns for my next outing. Probably use the bypass route first time if I were to be honest.

I hear from reports that Ruadh-stac Beag is best left for winter climbing.

Keep the great reports coming.
