Hi Mrssanta.
Walked with Graham and Annie today and scheduled for all this week. Great couple and a greast walk which we are doing tomorrow.

Really enjoyed your report and pictures mrs santa :D You seem to have had a great time and had great weather too :D

I've had Skye in mind for a while now, but have wanted the name of a good guide to get me round these hills. So thanks for the excellent reference for Skye Hi. A period of negotiation will now be commenced with MrsR to get the time away and experience these hills

Responsible as I am to Mrs Santa for transport, load carrying and navigational 'support' I can't recommend Skye Hi enough. My hooves are not built for narrow foot holds or 'friction' climbs and if Graham can get me up these mountains keeping us both sane he'll do for anybody. We did see some other parties led by guides who didn't seem to know the routes as well as Graham and they appeared to end up in trouble as a result.

Just don't try to race him up hill.

PS I'm not scared of heights!. I'm scared of drops- particularly if they are below me!

Wow nice pics and report!! Looks stunning and horrific at the same time.

Is that the In Pinn in the 3rd pic from the bottom? We are booked with Graham and Annie to do that on our honeymoon in June. Gulp.

Yes that's the fella. Honestly you'll be fine on the In Pinn, as Graham will have you carefully roped. It's not a difficult climb technically, but very exposed, but the rope saves you from worrying about that. Graham goes up it like a wee mountain goat.

If you have half as much fun as I did you will be having a ball!

I hope so - really excited, but trying to keep the excitement to a minimum to save the disappointment when we are no doubt greeted with two weeks of rain!
