And thanks to everybody for your comments. I'd never have been able to do this without help.

Nice one Mrs Santa, what is it with Skye this month, that's yourself, Kev and Monty to name but a few who have Inn Pinned successfully, I'm hoping to do the same next month just booked a guide (Jonah) and having seen your pics I can't wait.

Fandabidozie Mrs S!

Truly the best report I've read on the In Pinn ever.

I have my hot date with this one in Sept and for some strange reason I'm not getting my knickers in a twist about it. :? :?
I think I'm with Rudolph on this one- the fact that you're roped up gives you security that you don't have on other tricky ascents

PS Top notch photos too!!!

Did you camp at Glen Brittle?

Thank you so much. You are too kind Polly. :D the day made the photos to be honest, would have been hard to take a bad one.

we camped at Glen Brittle for 4 nights, sun to wed, on the Monday night we got the first midges of the season but the rest of the week there was a nice cool breeeze. Great showers at Glenbrittle, nearly knock your head off, and fair massages the aching muscles. Also the washing up facilities are sex-segregated, which meant that good old Rudolph had to do it by himself (fair dos, I did the cooking). On thursday we moved house to Sligachan campsite. That was nice as we could eat in the bar at the hotel, good to sit in a proper chair and keep warm for a couple of hours. showers there were good too, nice and hot.

Well done. My brother (he is from your neck of the woods) has done it several times but I have to achieve the feat. Maybe next time before I get too old.

It was the work of clever ravens who have learnt to open zips. mine are especially beak friendly with little circular tabs to help with gloved hands. Good reason to put your grub in a plastic box rather than a polybag.

Aye, crows are clever wee blighters - we used to have one that raided our milk bottles DESPITE being in a plastic box, scarily enough - s/he had obviously cracked that one too.
Inspirational report, though      - don't know if I'll ever feel brave enough to attempt this one, but your report does maybe make it look just about possible... Respect to Rudolph & yourself  !

Go for it Kenny, go with a guide and all the route finding fear is taken away, you can just enjoy the scrambling and the views. Rudolph is a right fearty and he is even considering going back!

Stunning stuff MrsS, well done on bagging one of the most challenging of Munros  The ravens opening zips and knicking your stuff was new to me and I have to say I chuckled a little....I'll be keeping more of an eye on mine from now on
