for Davetherave
try skye mountain fever
will take you to Jonah's site
have met him, though never made use of his expertise as a guide, which
I intend making use of for the Inn Pinn sometime soon. Such as hopefully
very soon as when the weather improves. Actually usually walk alone
and am looking for someone to share costs.

Great stuff Kev. The 'Kate Winslett' line is the stand out moment from the trip. Absolutely hilarious

Davetherave and FesinaLente,

Jonah is a great character. We went back to his pad after for a pint and the photos of him on Elbrus etc, were amazing. He's also been up the South approach to Everest so knows his stuff. Some great tales too. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Curlywurly, I quite liked the pool player's one-liner too but we'll work on something next time we're back up.

Well done Kev, sounds like you enjoyed that one. My brother and I have just booked Jonah for the end of June, I can't wait to get up to Skye and the Inn Pin

I spent all last week wondering how you guys were getting on up in Skye and even although the weather was rank, I still wished I was there with you. Mind you, you'd only have taken pictures of my terrified looking coupon as I swung from the end of a rope above the yawning abyss........

Well done Kev. I once had a lock-in with Jonah and some locals on Skye... brilliant evening - although I was the worse for wear the next day. I've not been on those hills yet but always planned to seek his services when I do head up onto the ridge. Good to hear he was a great guide. Well done getting the InnPinn.

Well done :) Quite the adrenaline rush hey?!

You did, however, forget to mention that you bumped into 3 other fine walkers ;)

At first glance i thought 'i know that guy'... but with not much face showing, and more beard, it was hard to tell!
