This was my first attempt at a Munro, and what a walk. It was a lot steeper than I expected and there was a lot more snow than was expected too this made it a very difficult walk, we nearly turned back when we got to the lost valley buttress as it was just a wall of snow; but carefully and slowly we edged our way up. Here is a map of the route and some pictures.

Warning
Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
