Well done on reaching halfway  , I went up here on my bike to see the viaduct, before my hillwalking days. It doesn't take long on a bike at all.

PS The way they made the Glenfinnan Viaduct is how they make the legs for oil rigs now and where the idea to do it that way came from!

Congratulations from me, too, for reaching the halfway point   I haven't climbed anything in this area yet but it looks tempting... I have to venture further south!

Well, I'm really looking forward to reading your TR.

Cheers,
Stephan

Hi Stephan,
The last few hundred metres to the top of Sgurr Thuilm has a less obvious path as I reckon people tend there to veer at little westwards thinking of their next leg to Sgurr nan Coireachan. The most obvious path tends to remain on the east, but it doesn't really matter as it is a broad summit with solid ground and the wander factor kicks in :D :D
thanks for your comment (that was an impressive trip you had few weeks back  )

Good point Pigeon, I missed out there :D :D
I guess I wasn't so focused on the 142, until I was half way between the two summits and it hit me then

Mind you I did have a few beers the night before and a wee dram when I got home

A very fine report indeed Bod. We have only visited this area the once, that was when we tackled 3 near by Corbetts a we while back.

We seem to be of the same thinking as yourself, all the walks in and out are always done on foot. That's probably due to always having the dogs with us.

Great selection of pics you got for your day .

Dave.
