Started walk around 9.30 and a great day for it, some cloud but views brilliant, stopped for lunch at Beinn Ghlas and all I will say is thank goodness for jaffa cakes and cheese and onion crisps, (Leigh was in charge of the pieces).
During the walk we could hear the stags calling out from one glen to another which was fantastic, on descent from Lawers we took the low road which was easier on the legs. We reached the bottom of the glen and all around you could hear stags calling, we sat down and tried to see if we catch sight of them. Right in front of us we spotted a stag on the mound with the herd down below and across on other side of glen another herd. We sat for almost half an hour listening and watching, could have stayed all day but we had a pint waiting at The Falls of Dochart Inn.
