Castle Kilchurn Loch Awe

Quite an exceptional walk, @ any time. Tho a short but pleasant walk. going at the time of day we did .. approx 4.30 we got the best sight ever. It can be boggy.. we were lucky it was quite dry so fairly firm tho slightly muddy in part.
A not to be missed walk. As Loch Awe is spectacular in itself. The silohette of the castle in the sunset.. was probably a sight to be in awe of. So take the time to take a look.

Stunning spot isn't it? For such a short walk too.

There was a problem with the route a few years ago when Network Rail tried to close all level crossings to walkers - this route and many others was closed. Luckily the access legislation forced a change of plan

The crossing is closed but we walked under the railway bridge It was stunning views the photos were a definet must ... had to capture that beauty of the Sun going down over the castle and Loch
