Not done one of these for ages so heres one for Beinn Fhionnlaidh.

As you can see our route in Glen Etive follows that taken by Stretch, jimand andrea and bootsandpaddles so I won't bore you to death with the logistics as it's been well covered other than to say the owners of the cottage are building a new path and have put a sign up outside the farm asking you to use it.......so we did, nobody fancied their chances with the dugs

This is new path I was talking about but I was more interested in Ben Starav so I didn't mage to fit it all in!

The walk through the forest was cooler out of the sun but there's a few fallen trees you need to by pass

View out to sea from the beallach between Beinn Fhionnlaidh & Meal nan Gobhar (which the keener amongst us would climb and the sensible (me) would not)........too bloody warm for that! 8)

Thanks Soulminer, we had a great day and I tried to get that over in the report. Co-incidentally I said it was the back of the Buachaille to someone on the day who promptly told me to shut it  and stop talking rubbish! They shall remain nameless but thanks for confirming this........I can now throw it right back at them  but it is amazing how different hills can look from another angle
