A great days walk with stunning mountain scenery ,weather cool but sunny with some cloud around hovering over some summits for brief spells. We started from the road to the E of Spidean Coinich and steadily ascended via the sturdy SE flank of the mountain, stopping for a breather on the rocky outcrops at around the 600m mark before the final ascent to the summit of Spidean Coinich .
After a well earned dinner we headed carefully down the narrow path to the bealach a cornaidh before reascending to the summit of Sail Garbh .It was too late in the day to tackle Sail Gorm and complete the full round so we headed back down the footpath to the road, but still a great day out.
