left the car at 5.30 am and set off on a glorious morning. I'll skip the walk description as there are plenty of good reports elsewhere on this site. Suffice to say it was an amazing morning and I was being baked by the sun by the time I crossed the river Lair and stopped to photograph deer. I made the summit in 2 and a half hours after a bit of scrambling up the last scree and boulder slope when i lost sight of the path for a few minutes. I sat around in the sun for over an hour before heading back down to the bealach intending to do Sgorr Ruadh as well but by the time I got back to the stalkers path about 10am, it was already ridiculously hot so i decided to call it a day and head back to the car.
