Another couple of Lawers quickies. Left house at 10 and there was a bit of holiday traffic on the road, Lawers & Tarmachan car parks looked full so I parked at the top of the lochan in case no space at cairn. Short walk from here to start of path.

Didn't read route description & started going the wrong way round, then changed my mind and turned around. The way described here is probably best as the boggiest bit is left till last last, so there's less risk of squelching boots all the way round.

Route up Meall Corranaich suggests going to the right of the burn but I took a more direct ascent. Steepish grass which eases when you get to the ridge:

Couple of guys ahead:

Looking back, path worn into grass near fence posts if you don't fancy going straight up:

Good views today, Loch Tay:

Cairn, looking towards Lawers:

A guy from Edinburgh soon arrived at the cairn, they'd decided on these 2 as an easy option after heavy weekend. Grassy ridge onwards:

There are a couple of paths here but all lead to the next Munro, Meall a'Choire Leith soon in sight:

Looking back, path close to burn & another higher up:

Easy walk up to cairn, Lawers & An Stuc without snow:

Route down often pathless, but the grass here is firm and easy for a descent:

Further down, crossed the burn just before the wee dam:

Next section is boggiest, path vanishes regularly but headed towards Tarmachan:

And quickly got to start of path again:

Not the most exciting hills, OK if you get views and don't have much time. Or want to cure a hangover :D

Some nice pics gman.

Think I'll be doing these anti-clockwise when I hope to do them next month. Was tempted to do these on the same day as the Tarmachan Ridge but the plan now is to do them on their own on the last day of a weeks holiday, to wind down after some longer walks.
