jonny, Johnny, GillC - probably a good idea going in the snow - fewer people I'd guess
Collaciotach - couldn't agree more - not sure I'd want to go up Ben Nevis again after that
pigeon - sorry couldn't see you - didn't have my glasses with me
gammy, dave - only way I can manage is to leave early, get back late and just plod on
JohnJoe - it's not as hard a as you think; once you're up there the height drops aren't too bad
jimandandrea, Chris, fudgie, Bod - it's great when you get the weather and the views !

Not enough which is why I start very early, finish late and plod - I do have a 31 mile round cycle commute to work which I do as often as I can (but not often enough). The hills are getting further away and other commitments make it harder to get the time - cheers

Quite an undertaking. Nice photos !

On a more modest level, it reminds me of a friend going for a walk in the Malvern Hills to escape the hype surrounding Charles & Diana's wedding, only to find that they were mobbed by loads of other people with the same idea !!
