Drove up Monday night leaving Aberdeen at 11pm and arriving at car park by Inchnadamph Hotel at 2.30am, slept in car and was away by 8.am. Weather was good cloudy with sunny spells and was to remain like that for the day. It was a steep climb after the walk in, plenty of rocks, but paths up higher were good. The views from Conival were excellent, plenty of lochs up high on various hill's and the landscape very rugged looking. Looking over to Ben More looked tricky, but just more of walking over rocks and boulders and climbs not to steep. Took a few photo's over here at the summit then sat for a while having a bite to eat taking in the views, made my way towards south top for my walk back by the loch beneath me and to take up path where I left to ascend Conival. Ridge walk didnt pose any threats but might be diff with a strong wind if you dont a head for heights, starting meeting plenty of people for the rest of the day. Arrived back at car park at 15.20pm. Ended up pitching tent in the garden of The Crask Inn, would recommed a visit here for a drink and food, but advised to book for food, which was nice, after a few drinks too off to sleep at 21.45, up at 4.30am to do Ben Klibreck before driving to meet Gary and Russel at Ben Hope for 11am start.
