I've always enjoyed a good walk, but never attempted anything more than the Lomond Hills situated where I live in Fife. My good friend Robert, who has done this sort of thing for years now, suggested we do a "Munro" and Ben Lomond was the most accessable and therefore the obvious choice. Weather was far from perfect, with the summit shrouded in mist, but I had a great time and we plan to do another Munro in August.

Can't wait!

Congratulations on your first one  ! I bet you're hooked very quickly - most people are...
I ended up climbing Ben Lomond about 5 times before I got round to doing any of the others  - don't knock it; it's a great hill, mind - anyway, hopefully you'll make more rapid progress :D !
