Hi Polly, great report, just to rub salt in your wounds I did this circuit last year in a heat wave, ran out of water and ended up quenching my thirst from a stream at the bottom of the steep path towards the end.

Thanks Clive, oh no you rub away!!!!

The past three walks I've been on its all been about conserving water and constantly checking about how much we have left and possible refills along the way. The worst being on A/E where we had nothing left and no chance of anything until the Clachaig!!!

Great report as usual Polly, though i thought you'd given up writing 'em,it's been a while since i've noticed one on the forum! Shame about the weather, that's a pretty long round to do in those sort of conditions though it looks like you all had a good laugh & enjoyed yourselves which is the main thing(besides getting down safely of course!) Was planning on doing these on the Braemar meet in August but looks like i won't be able to make it now. :(

Hello Pat,

Glad you liked the report. I've been lurking in the Walks Diary/Blog section and letting others submit the reports. Theirs are much better anyway :D

Pity you can't make the next meet-up, but I'm sure there will be plenty more!
