Over a hundred walk reports in October - many of them from a brilliant weekend of weather in the middle of the month...

Lots of great reports as ever, with some superb photos and great comical reads from the likes of regulars including Kinley, Monty, Kevsbald, mountaincoward, David Ferguson et al and newcomers including good ones from Trossachsgirl and imacd - sorry to those not mentioned this time. Especially good to see a few reports which break the mould of the usual hill-bashing, with foggieclimber's rock-climbing day on the Pinnacle Ridge of Sgurr nan Gillean, and some good reports on shorter, easier walks including from hillwalkers Kevsbald and imacd - all adds to the variety!

However the winner of October's Walk Report of the Month - and the £40 of TISO vouchers - is John Burgess for his wonderful report on Beinn Mheadhoin in the Cairngorms. Congratulations John - and do send me a private message of your address so I can pass to TISO for sending out the vouchers.

Happy walking

Thank you Paul :D
I can't imagine how you make a decision with so many fantastic reports to choose from but this is very much appreciated.
Mind you, if you take a look at my latest report on Beinn Liath Mhor a Ghiubhais Li you might want to reconsider.
I think I'd better use the vouchers to get something nice for Carol - then she might come out with me again

All the best,

John
