Re the photo of Culra bothy with Ben Alder in the background - I was keen to get this picture as it's the same as the photo in my rather old copy of the SMC munros book albeit that the bothy has been painted since then - cheers :D

Another monster trip :clap:

Glad the weather got better towards the end.

I did this in reverse May of this year...well did 3 and my mate got scared on the soft snowy ridge. Hes not an experienced walker so we turned back, would have been quicker for me to do the other 3...i have to go back and do them now. I can use this report now to nab the 3 :D

We cycled Loch Pattack in and out so cant compare. Took us an hour to cycle out.

robert - thanks...I do like the long days out

dooters - cheers...had a look at your photos on facebook - fantastic ! makes such a difference having some snow compared to the green of summer - and you probably could have completed the six in a shorter time than the descent and walk back !

Great report RH. your weather looked better than other resent outings. First photo of the loch is lovely. can you ride tandem, i could use a lift when i do these :lol:
