I love Inveraray. I've visited many times and stayed a few as well. I almost moved here from London but it wasn't to be. Anyone who visits has to do this walk. it's not hard by any standard, but the views are stunning and the route as described, passes through very scenic grounds and woodland. An early test of the hip's recovery for me and surprisingly, the movement on the downhill stretch to The George Hotel was a clear indication that all was well!!
