This was more difficult than we expected, not least because of the long uphill slog that just got steeper and steeper. However all was worth it once we reached the plateau. First impressions were a bit samey but once we walked closer to the edge of the plateau the views were awesome. It looked as though a giant slice had been taken out of the mountain with what appeared to be an amost vertical drop 1000s of feet below to Loch Einich. Some great crags stuck precariously on the side of Sgor Gaoith made for fab photo opportunities. All three of us agreed that every arduous step was WORTH IT for such great views. We also bagged demoted Munro, Sgoran Dhub Mor (now a Top). Cracking way to end a fortnight in the Highlands.....but all took a turn for the worst when we returned home to find our son had lost his £150 (not so)Smartphone in the burn at the bottom of our garden.
