This is a trip report that is posted before somewhere out there on cyberspace, but I just post it here too because of the map and statistics feature.
This is the route description:

What can you do when it looks like it's going to be another rainy day, and it's sunday morning. there is allways a missing munro somewhere.
I was very prepared for rain and fog on this trip. So I didn't have too high expectations on the view.

There is a convenient parking a little north of Inveruglas.

When you can't see far away, you can focus more on things which are near.

Beautyful Loch Lomond. The view from the hillside is good.
Image

There are allways some hazards for walkers.
Image

These are called little hills.
Image

Who is going to give way? No people to see on this trip, only sheep.
Image

This is the summit of Ben Vorlich. The trigonometric point is not the summit.
Image

I had my tea here. It was not so windy today, only on the very summit.
Image

There is a significant and good footpath on the western side of Ben Vorlich. Unfortunately it is not in the Harvey map. 1:25000. I checked the Ordnance Survey Map but it's not there either.
Image

Here is where the path is starting, just turn right if you are going up.
Image

From here it's easy to find the way back to Inveruglas.

The canyon in Inveruglas water is a treasure for botanics I think.
I will turn the tree soon.
Then the round trip was made on a foggy sunday. I needed the exercise.
