Parked car at NTS car park. Followed path up to bealach where we stopped for lunch. Views in either direction. Cloud cleared off Ben Lawers as we sat. Then followed worn path up to the start of steep climb up Meall Corranaich. Bit of care needed on the more rocky and worn parts. But quickly up to the top.

Path going down the ridge

Had a look about and could see good path heading back down the ridge so decided to go back that way rather than scramble down the steep slope again. Only one little bit where there is a need to use the hands as well to get down, then walked over to the ridge line and followed it down. Great view of Tarmachan and the dam and reservoir opens up.

At the end there is a big drop down, but a path at north west corner takes you down easily and then we cut back towards the nature reserve, losing height quickly to avoid crags further on and then a brief walk over the valley to the fence and the style over it. Bit wet here. Waded through long grass to the burn and over it and up the high banking to gain the footpath to the car park park once more. A nice little adventure and a munro thrown in.
