we set off 915am sat 11/08/12 at a little car parking space on a82 at auch glen. travel down private road you will pass over west highland way path after walking approx 20 mins from there head for railway viaduct . keep on path for a further 3miles or so, criss crossing allt kinglass [river] if it had been raining or river in spate you could get wet feet.further along path it splits keep on main path past beinn a chuirn which is very steep once past chuirn you will see a fence follow this all the way up then veer off to right all the way to top there are various routes back down take your pick you will eventually get back to main path and along slog back to car.for me it was well worth the effort the views were fab.

Good to see you are still pounding the hills,if you remember you helped me out big time when i took bad cramp on Achaladair back in March with salted peanuts.worked wonders!
Mhanach is a great hill which i really enjoyed, the long walk in was hard going as i done it on a scorcher.
ps.the cramp has never returned but always pack a bag of salted nuts just in case.
