I did the Glen Lichd approach last year with the help of a bike and it is much better than the A87 and misses the killer slopes on that side. When I stayed at the EUMC hut some years before, there was no windmill and no aerial - what next, broadband?

Love the first of those 3 photos - superb!

My thread's suddenly become popular again! Is it the wonderful quality of my photos? or the poetic prose? or people laughing at how mountain cowards can be afraid of 5 sisters? Nope - it's 'cos it's gone all p*rnographic!

Maybe not if you stick to double-entendres and judicious use of asterisks!

OK then - don't say you didnae ask for it :D

THE 3000 FEET HIGH CLUB

It was an innocent remark that started it all
Hey,that could be fun,we could have a ball
283 is an impressive number
But first things first,I need a lumber

Let’s just get started,I’m good to go
We can have a threesome on Ben a’Ghlo
Form a new club and have a meet
Not “One Mile High” but “3000 Feet”

Ohhhhhh what good times we will be having
On Sgurr na Ciche, and on Bod an Deamhain
Euphemistically it is termed BUNRO
That’s have a bonk on each Munro

For the Pinn,we'll need extra protection
A bit exposed, that big rock, hard projection
But we’ll be safe lass, just me and you
With rope and sling, piton and screw

Where will we start, and where compleat
Oh what an achievement, Oh what a feat
But how will we feel, I have no doubt
We’ll both be knackered, be all s*****d out

And what will we do when we’ve been around
Corbetts ?,Grahams ? new thrills to be found
So keep going lassies, keep it up chaps
Think of joyful pleasures on the Paps.

Cleanest version I can come up with
